Lesley Snelson
    Artistic Director

A merging of traditional and contemporary; a modern class fusing elements of Afro-Haitian & Hip Hop with modern forms such as Cunningham and Horton. Inspired by rhythmic accuracy and performed with high energy, the class explores a vast spectrum of emotions and physicality. Designed to motivate dancers to delve into their expressive potential. Teaches the dancer how to communicate details and power within choreography. Challenges the dancers with drastic weight shifts into free flowing movements by releasing into the floor as they simultaneously challenge their space. This weighted approach into free-flowing movements while executing rhythmic patterns makes this an advanced class.   

Meghan Cardwell-Wilson
  Company Manager

This class both embraces and defies gravity through swift transitions into and out of the floor that combine highs and lows with pliant floor work.  Focus upon momentarily centering weight to then fall away from center allowing momentum to fuel movement: straight up and sideways, upside down and right side up. 

Brandy Niccolai
  Collective Member

Niccolai's classes have a strong focus on refining modern dance technique.  The class format includes fundamental phrases and concepts from various modern dance styles, Pilates and other fitness forms to assist with building strength and stamina.   Dancers will focus on clarity and efficiency of movement while contributing individuality to phrases and combinations.
